Making Tax Digital (MTD) is a key part of the UK Government’s plans to make it easier for individuals and businesses to get their tax right and keep on top of their affairs.
However with the deadline to become MTD-compliant arriving on April 1st, companies have been left scrambling to get themselves ready in time and there are fears over what ‘compliance’ actually looks like.

My view is that concerns surrounding this transition come from fear of the unknown rather than anything else. SMEs should embrace this digital transition, as it could revolutionise the way they tackle their finances – and for the better.”
