The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation is a charity that provides direct funding to families of children up to the age of five who suffer severe intellectual and physical developmental delay, enabling them to purchase home respite care. They also provide end of life care to all children up to the age of five.
In order to provide these services, Jack and Jill Foundation needs to raise €3.5M each year. It is only through the generosity of the public and their loyal supporters that they can continue to do this.
One of these supporters is John Holland, a long-standing employee of Kefron’s. John and his family have experienced first hand the invaluable support that Jack & Jill provides.
“My daughter Sinitta was born with uncontrollable seizures in 2006. From 2009 Jack & Jill provided my family with the necessary respite care for Sinitta that regular respite homes couldn’t provide. While it seems small and insignificant to people not in our position, Jack & Jill helped Siobhán and I enjoy quality time together that we hadn’t had in 2 years, knowing that Sinitta was being cared for in the way that we would care for Sinitta.”
“Since Sinitta’s passing, I’ve always wanted to give back to Jack & Jill, to raise awareness of the foundation and to help parents who are going through a similar experience.”
“So this year I have decided to do something fun. In the 3 weeks leading up to Christmas, I will be decorating my beard in a series of unique festive designs. And it won’t just be at the weekends either, I will be keeping these looks 24/7. So whether I’m in work or at the shops, you’ll get a chance to see my latest look.”
